# Users Engagement

With the **Users Engagement API**, you can:

- View the number of new and active users.
- View the number of users and chat analytics by hour and week.

On the workspace UI, this information is available on the [Users](https://docs.rocket.chat/docs/engagement#view-user-metrics) tab in the **Administration** > **Workspace** > **Engagement** section.
