# Update Group Key (Realtime)

This method updates the user subscription to save the E2E key.

## Payload parameters

| Argument | Example | Required | Description |

| `rid` | `joqpjkmcsw` | Required | The room ID of the subscription. |
| `uid` | `uisocs93ndsal` | Required | The user ID of the subscription. |
| `key` | `klsosnaca` | Required | The key that will be saved on the subscription. |
