# LDAP

> From Rocket.Chat 9.0.0, LDAP is available on Starter workspaces and on all premium plans (Commercial, Government, and Defense). It is not available on Community workspaces, where these endpoints return `error-action-not-allowed`. See [Our Plans](https://docs.rocket.chat/docs/our-plans) for details.

With **LDAP API** endpoints, you can perform the following actions:

- Sync user accounts with an LDAP server.
- Perform test synchronizations to validate the LDAP connection.
- Search for users on the LDAP server.
