# Channels Engagement

With the **Channels Engagement API**, you can view all channels in your workspace and the number of messages in each channel within a specific period.

On the workspace UI, this information is available on the [Channels](https://docs.rocket.chat/docs/engagement#view-channels-metrics) tab in the **Administration** > **Workspace** > **Engagement** section.
